Flying in a Virtual World

video

Sequoia Flight School has a free, user-friendly online charter & cargo company using the On Air Company (www.onair.company). On Air Company costs about $50 USD for a yearly subscription and active SFS Sales Team members can get reimbursed for their On Air membership.

Sequoia Flight School bases out of KAND in Anderson, SC with small FBO’s in several nearby airports.

It’s not necessary to join On Air or fly online at all in order to participate in Sequoia Flight School. You can fly 100% of your Charter & Cargo Course assignments from an air-gapped computer and upload your logbook entries through the Charter & Cargo Course software manually.

You obviously won’t be able to participate in the various aspects of the online community and the versatility of the virtual world but you can still complete the course.

SFS students are not restricted to flying for SFS. The Charter & Cargo Course is required to join the Sales Team and become a real-world professional contractor for Sequoia Flight School, at which point your On Air membership gets reimbursed each year, but SFS students are never restricted to flying solely for SFS.

Pilots & Managers

On completion of your online training and check rides you’ll be certified as a Sequoia Flight School Freelance Pilot and you have the option of flying SFS aircraft freelance or on various SFS routes.

Sales Team members who help manage the SFS On Air operations get an additional bonus each month based on the success of their operations. Terms & Conditions, Rules & Restrictions and the need for additional and ongoing training applies.
